SecKC is back!! Virtual SecKC is a go for August! Come for the mad beats, stay for the workshops and talks. We will bring back as much normalcy as we can with SecKC 101, news (oh yeah!) and some Raspberry Pi talks! Also, the minds that brought us SecKC are going to talk through their views on where we are and where we're going in a Founders Panel. We have a ton to talk about and can’t wait to see everyone (virtually of course)!

6:00 - 6:10 SecKC 101 / Welcome to SecKC. TL;DR be nice, we say fuck a lot.

6:15 - 6:35 News - yes that's right, 20 minutes of news from @sysaaron. A lot has happened.

6:45 - 7:15 Check your Pi Hole with Hack the Planet - this is a workshop for setting up your very own network wide ad/tracking blocker. If you want to follow along you'll need:

1) Any Raspberry Pi. I run mine on an old 1.2B, so any model will work fine.

2) The latest release of raspbian installed onto an SD card You can find instructions on how to install the image here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/installation/installing-images/

3) Admin username/password access to your router, specifically access to DNS settings. Downloading and installing the raspbian image take the longest time by far, this is to make sure everyone who wants to follow along will be at the same starting point.
